Regina Gyr is from Zurich and lives in Berlin. She studied acting and then later theatre directing at the HFMT Hamburg, and has worked as a freelance director since 2006. From 2012 she has been a key member of the Kostümkollektiv e.v. - a costume fund, and started to work as a costume designer for film projects. Biscuit Tin Blues is her first film as producer.
